I am an Eclectic therapist. I can offer a spectrum of treatment options from cognitive based interventions to transpersonal exploration. I have focused training in Traumatology, EMDR, and Dissociative Disorders.  In February 2016, I will have completed formal training in Trauma Conversion Therapy.

Mainstream society values “Intelligence” as the fast and competitive recall of vast, detailed complex knowledge. There are additional and equally important “Intelligences” that include Emotional and Somatic. As a therapist, I value teaching skills to cultivate Emotional and Somatic intelligence. Why? Because, these skills help us navigate.

I am also an Eclectic Yoga Teacher. I have decades of experience teaching many styles from simple meditation and visualization to Active Vinyasa, fusing many movement styles. Learning to ride the dynamics of energy release and retention starting with an exhale is fundamental, no matter the level and purpose of the group.

About Angelique

What I bring to my work is years of learning from life experience combined with years of formal education and training. Although my theoretical approach is not set in stone, I am professionally committed to a code of ethics and a manner of positive regard.  Simply put, when you work with me, we work together for a healthy “you”.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with additional Master degrees in Public Health and Education.

Clients

I welcome working with people from ages 14 through late adulthood. Sexual orientation is not an issue for me. All religious, spiritual, and naturalists are welcomed.

I welcome those who are struggling with deeply personal life changes such as growing up/away from family expectations, issues regarding sexual orientation, religious conflict/doubt, new medical issues, relationship difficulties, grief/loss, transitions and unhealthy habits.
